shoulder dislocation issue?

hey all, I dislocated my shoulder earlier today (ouchies) and I immediately went to hospital to get it popped back in during the whole getting painkillers(not much due to not knowing if I'm allergic to morphine or not) that it would be very painful to have it popped back in but when it came to it all I felt was a pop and it was back in which seemed unusual I was so relieved the pain was over it never occurred to me to ask is that a good sign? I'm worried because this is my first dislocation and I read somewhere that after the first dislocation it makes it more likely to dislocation due to stretching to the muscles, I don't know if it's permanent or not, was it a good sign that I didn't feel the pain or is it a bad sign my shoulder isn't sore (painkillers have worn off) just feels more tender than anything else, I can move my hand ok and it just feels tender when I move my arm.
