Shoulder MRI result help

Hi all,
A bit of history;
Fell and dislocated left shoulder in April. It was reduced in A&E. 6 weeks in a sling, then 3 months of PT.
Regained about 90% ROM but I am still never without pain/aching.
Had an MRI arthrogram 2 weeks ago. Received results today (below) and told I will now be referred to a shoulder specialist.
My question is, has anyone had anything similar? I'm just wondering whether this will indicate surgery for me?
MRI report
The anterior glenoid is completely devoid of labrum. No torn or displaced labral substance can be seen.
Labral hypoplasia may be a cause in combination with a Buford complex.
The MGL appears unusually prominent which could be a sign of a Buford complex.
No bony Bankart lesion is evident.
Articular cartilage is preserved.
There is a high signal cleft undermining the base of the superior labrum. Whether this is a large sublabral sulcus or a SLAP lesion is difficult to determine, probably the latter.
The biceps tendon is normal. No rotator cuff tear.
Moderate degeneration and subchondral oedema is noted along the AC joint which could be symptomatic.
Thank you.
