Shoulder pain 6 months

Hi! I have a slap II tear from volleyball that happened over a year ago. I was weak and some muscle pain after that but then in July I fell on my shoulder and it cause renditions, bursitis and then a frozen shoulder. I see a great PT and I ice often, I have gotten better from pain of 8-10 to now I have 3-4. My range is better but I cannot lift more than 10 lbs. I'm keeping at it and trying not to be down or over use my arms. After 6 months I'm just feeling defeated and wondering if anyone has any inspiring stories or others who took a year or so to be pain free? Is this my life forever, I fear. I'm 32 with 3 kids, I can't imagine living like this forever. I've felt like I haven't been able to be myself since this happened

Hi Nicole. I had SLAP surgery in Aug. I've been dealing with some pain in my shoulder & arm again, and severe neck pain the last 3 months now. I've been going to therapy too, and the therapists are really good, but nothing has helped yet; even the traction. I will be finally taking a MRI of my neck on Monday. I pray it's nothing serious, because I would like to go back to work; that's where I was injured; by a few students in kindergarten. I still love them too! Whatever the outcome, I'll deal with it; with God's help and guidance! I'm praying for a great outcome though. Talk to your doctor, and see if there's anything else he can do. Put it in God's hands and trust in Him! I'm a firm believer in prayer and in our Lord Jesus Christ! I'll keep you in prayer!

Normita thank you for responding. I'm sorry you are going through this too. You are right, I need to keep praying.
