Shoulder pain after nissen fundoplication

Posted , 1 user is following.

I am 6 weeks post op from Nissen Fundoplication. I have had awful shoulder pain since waking up from the op. I was told it should go after 24 hours. I still get constant burning in my left upper chest radiating into the front and back of my shoulder and even into my neck, jaw and ear. I believe this is referred pain from the nerves passing through the diaphragm. Has anyone else had this for this long and did it resolve?
