Shoulder still bad

Will I'm still dealing with my shoulder hurting. I know I should call my doctor and she about surgery. My family doctor said my shoulder doctor is the best for shoulders so it made me fill better but I'm still nervous.

I have good days and ok days, But the really bad days are getting really old. When my daughter has to help me get dressed not good.

I just got divorced and we are on our own, no support from family.  I have been trying to find a job but they all turn me down. They want people who can left over 50 pounds. I can't left 40 pounds. I can't even left a gallon of milk at times, if I do I keep my elbow by my side for support.

I keep seeing people stories about how bad the surgery made things worse so I don't know what to do.

Have you had a diagnosis as to what the actual problem is? At least then you can make a more balanced decision as what to do.

See a specialist. Maybe Try physical therapy meantime just to keep your muscles from atrophy and strength if it's not a major injury . I found lots of simple exercises to do online from orthopedic groups. And when I was actually sent to PT by my doc they have me doing pretty much what I found online. They are mostly stretches to start, getting the muscles and tendon and ligaments released from all the tension. Then they eased me into some strength ones. Now while I wait for my next "approved" six sessions in doing them at home. FOR ME, it's helped some with range of motion, although I still have pain. Good luck.
