Shoulder support brace

Hi all- I hope you're having a pain easy day! I've had a frozen (freezing) left shoulder now for 5 months. It's my dominant hand so I'm really struggling and the pain (as you know) is awful. I was thinking about trying a neoprene shoulder brace and wondered if anyone had tried one and how it went?
Thanks in advance

Hi Sandra
For me ... I'm not sure if I have FS yet, pain is very 'real' but I just might have an infected bursa. It's a stat holiday in BC today so I'm going to see my GP this week and get on waitlist for specialists....
I'm sorry you have 5 months of pain now!! I have only 11 days today. But I have some movement in the last 2 days which makes me hopeful
Mine is my dominant arm as well. Try and Have a good day

Hi Sandra I have been suffering with a frozen left shoulder for about 3 month's, the pain that goes along with it is sickening . I saw my GP and had steroid injection but it made symptoms worse , so I'm waiting for hospital appointment now . I've tried a shoulder brace I got from Amazon but it didn't help me much , I've also used ice packs and heat packs but they didn't help me with the constant throbbing pain . I've started using a tens machine and this has been a big help relieving some of the pain . Hope this helps

Stewart thank you SO much for sharing that. I thought I was going insane with feeling worse pain after the injection! I e asked a friend to borrow their tens machine so I might give that a try. Last week was the first time I can ever remember actually crying in pain...
I hope whatever they're going to do at the hospital relieves your pain - it is the most demoralising and debilitating condition
Thank you again for sharing- I don't feel so stupidly alone now
