I concur. I don't necessarily Get sick to my stomach it’s more of an irritable bowel type sensation. It really does ruin ONE’s life, people that do not have this problem truly do not understand the fight we battle every day!

currently i am only eating scrambled eggs, rice and creamy peanut butter. I'm keeping portion sizes small, no bigger then the size of my fist, in an effort to not feel sick or cause the horrible cramps. 2nd day of eating this way, see the GI Dr tomorrow.

That is one of the down side of this crappy disease is the constant stomach nausea. Between the meds and the disease both will make your stomach upset. I always stress, EVERYONE is different. You basically need to figure out what helps your nausea. For myself, I ate a small banana after taking the antibiotics, it helped with the nausea, then ate a bowl of cream of wheat which helps to coat the stomach.

if you feel down and you have no energy here is something that you can do for yourself that takes NO effort and will make a very quick change for you. you need protein, fiber and water. google CLEAR PROTEIN on AMAZON and youll see a long list of many types of clear (meaning not a shake) protein drinks--some have fiber in them as well. you can find this in stores everywhere too..... Since you feel sick when you eat, the protein shake(vanilla, choc etc )may not give you an appetite BUT the CLEAR liquid PROTEIN DRINKS should be a no brainer. They will give you lots of energy ---get the ones packed with vitamins & fiber too!!! this is only temporary, it all should eventually be combined with real food.

Yes. All the time. It is so depressing and debilitating. I would love to find something that helps. It doesn't matter what I do or don't eat - some level of nausea follows most of he time.
