Depends on the reason he got on them to begin with. After 2 months the reason he's on them, he should be feeling fine. If not and other thing's are popping up, then call his doc right away. This might not be the right med for him/

    Hi megz,

I read young people react differently to the meds from adults. I think you should talk to the doc or psychiatrist. Does he sleep sufficiently like 9 hours?

Hi Metz, mom to young son.

In children antidepressants can trigger cycling of moods and increase in irritability.  That is the risk. This can start to occur even as late as 3 month out. Perhaps the anxiety is a symptom of bi polar tendencies. Agree with the other responders and report this to his prescribing doctor. A pediatric psychiatrist may be best to follow him.

    hello,

I would definiteley look at the medication...have had a lot of experience in my family with adverse  drug reactions, especially anything to do with the so called nervous system!!! What is just perfec for one is not perfect for someone else. I think these sorts of health problems the worst kind and more should be done in research to find an answer...if  i was you consult your helth specialist..and praps get second opinion!!!!

All the best..been there ,done that,!!!!
