Hi i have recently stopped taking tibolone after taking them for 3 months due to having an ovary removed and the other reconstructed! I felt great taking them however after stopping them after being told to do so by my gyno i have had terrible night sweats. I have also come out in an outbreak of spots and my hair is so greasy after only 1 day of washing it!

Has anyone else experienced this if so any idea how long it lasts for?

Thanks xxxx

    Hi Jane

I had a total hysterectomy 15 years ago and I still take tiberlone 2.5mg every other day. I’m now nearly 58.

I’m don’t intend to come off it yet.

A lady I know is 74 and she still on it.

I think if your happy and well on it take it. Unless you have health implications of course.

I had 1 ovary and tube removed so i still have 1 which shouldnt have a problem working. I was only on tibolone for 3 months whilst i recovered from my operation. My gyno told me to stop taking them aftter 3 months as my periods will go back to normal. I came off them 36 days ago and still not had a period xxx
