I've been on venlafaxine for about 7 years now for depression & anxiety. My initial.dose was 75mgs. It was upped to 112.5 about 2 years ago. Now I'm upped to 150mgs. 3 weeks ago.
Does anyone know if these side effects will dissipate, anxiousness, irritability, sleeplessness, as the upped dose gets more into my system. Didnt have them first time mgs were upped.

These effects are very common with an upped dose of venlafaxine and are considered as mild and these will go away in a couple of weeks.

The higher the dosage the more likely something will cause side effects and its more likely going to be more effective treatment. I try to stay at the same dosage on my mental health medication. I have been at 15mg for 8 years now, it works well. The problem with uping the dosage is the body will start to depend on higher dosages and when the person tries to go down in dosage it makes things worse. Try to stay at one dosage and work with that.
