Side Effects of Beta Blockers

Anyone taken beta blockers for migraine prevention and had to deal with bad side effects such as nausea, lightheadedness, dizzyness and blurred vision. If so, how long did it take to subside? I've been on first Sandomigran and then Metoprolol and have experienced all these side effects. I've now been off Metoprolol for a week now and still dealing with these side effects.

Wondering what people's experiences are with these beta blockers and getting over the side effects.
