Side effects of coming off Evoril Conti HRT patches

Hi. i was advised to come off HRT on 6 December as my blood pressure was high. Two weeks later I developed severe headaches. Got so bad, after 3 days I was referred to A&E. Had numerous blood tests, a CT Scan, lumbar puncture but so far everything looks normal. My blood pressure is down. But the severe headaches continue. I'm on painkillers but they are taking longer to kick in.

The doctors don't think there is a link between coming off the patches - but I'm at the of my tether having had debilitating headaches for five days.

Anyone else suffered anything similar?

    Sounds like you are having a migraine not a headache . The best way i can described them is pain down one side of your face , intense head pressure, lights sensitively and nausea. i had a week long migraine when a came off a Tibolone. It was mainly caused by the sudden change in hormones and stress .
