Side effects of vagifem 10mcg

If your past the menopause theN presume youve been given the vagifem for vaginal atrophy  eg                          Vaginal atrophy (atrophic vaginitis) is thinning, drying and inflammation of the vaginal walls due to your body having less estrogen. Vaginal atrophy occurs most often after menopause. For many women, vaginal atrophy not only makes intercourse painful, but also leads to distressing urinary symptoms.

I was given these for symptoms mentioned, as they are used in the vagina i wouldn't of thought they would be the cause of hot flushes.

Like you i too have M.E. as well but only found the discomfort for needing the vagifem was post menopause due to extreme discomfort in that erea and the urethra as well as everything drys up and shrinks down there and    one is prone to UTI  infections as well  though most times were no infection present, it was the dryness causing the problems.

I found the vagifem worked well but due to a small faint bleed had to stop using them which was a shame.  I now use a product called multygyn and since them no  more irritation and not one UTI .  

I dont think its the vagifem causing your hot flushes, i have heard of the menopause symptoms coming back with some women in their late 60s, aww i hope not as im now 67.  Hard to say when one has M.E.  as so many horrible symptoms with this alone.
