it's good that you are starting to feel better so concentrate on that when you have these bad turns. x when you increase the dose or change it's not uncommon to have symptoms come back for a while.

I'm not too sure as I haven't swapped my citalopram to sertraline yet (do that on saturday) just wanted you to know your message has been read and hopefully someone will be along soon who knows a little more about it.

it sounds like anxiety to me and 6 weeks really isn't very long so hopefully it will pass in time. worse case scenario it's just the dose you are on so a little change in dose might help so you still have options x

Hello, yes, this seems a normal reaction as i often get this when reacting to a doseage change. It should settle down after a while. Meanwhile, just try and distract yourself with work, music, exerecise etc. The best advice i have ever seen on here was from Nigel about not looking forward for recovery but to look backwards, i.e. comparing how you feel to how you felt before. As is often the case, although what you're feeling presently is uncomfortable or unsettling, it is often not as bad as it has been in the past. I have found that acceptance and distraction are the best methodologies for dealing with anxiety.

Acceptance- embrace all the symptoms for what they are - temporary feelings that will eventually dissipate

Distraction - carry on with life as normal. Do not let the condition stop you from working, exercising, socialising

    Good luck

hi hun im on a week increase now from 150-200mg and its happening to me too, i have faith that in time itl fade i just think of it as the medication working in my brain and doing what it needs to do and when i get dizzy i just think its fixing away lol, it is awful when it happens but i agree with the others regarding distracting and being kind to yourself and if it persists let your gp know 😃
