I'm 8 days Into recovering embolization and I'm just not feeling well. I called radiation Dr talked to nurse and told her symptoms. Waiting to hear back. Last 5 days iv had chills cold night sweats and now for 3 days my neck is so stiff and feels weird. My temperature is normal so dont know

I read sites but they only scare me and some say its the bad reaction to being under and getting the pain injections from iv out of system. I'll talk to them wjem tney call but I'm not sure what's going on. Anyone with flu like symptoms I think I read some did have that. The neck stiffness is worrying me

    Hi Kristen,

I hope that your discomfort and pain pass soon.  I did not have those symptoms, but I bet many others have experienced similar or same.  The cold night sweats sounded like a possibility from one of the books that I read.  Good to hear that your temperature is normal - hope that means no infection.  smile

    What did the doctor/nurse say?

Take care and hope this passes soon.

      Thanks Cindy

They called once the nurse but I updated her with my temperature so she said she would tell Dr. Since it's normal haven't heard back I also was out to sleep not sure why but neck stiffness and body aches are symptoms to the general anestisia. I'll call them if it continues. Thnx
