sideways

Does anyone else feel as if they are being pulled sideways when they walk and can't seem to walk to the other side this happens when I am in alot of pain especially when it is more intense on one side and I have had very little sleep it is not a nice feeling feel as if people will b thinkin I am drunk going to work at 6am

    sorry to here it debbie but if keep happening get checked out but i to seem to have a balance as such prob and my friend who has had fobro for 8yrs has the same mine i said balance but not sure right word but if walking straight i tend to keep going to one side  and keep correcting meself and i also seem to put one foot more forward and then end up falling to one side hope you sleep better tonight x

    Hi, Debbie...Yes, I walk like a drunken sailor at times.  The pain is bad, but the fatigue  is even worse...There are times when I can't do anything except lie in bed and stare at the ceiling...I am also OCD....My balance is all off, and makes it so much easier to fall while walking.....hope you feel better soon.

      Thank u carol it is horrible I have fell a few times now no serious injuries but just feel silly sometimes especially if people around x

      I'm in the same boat to Debbie..  for some reason after my accident my left side was affected.  I struggled to walk straight, infact I used to pull right and I felt like a crab going in circles...lol..  it improved a bit over the years with different techniques I practiced, and also to pick up my left foot took time.  I am a lot improved now, but when I get really sore I tend to revert and for folk who don't know my history, look at me sideways at times.  I'm always having to explain myself.

    Hi debbie1966 fibro can cause balance problems. It happens to me alot where I keep going over to my left side, I have to keep straightening my self, it does feel like your being to pulled to one side. its always my left never my right. my left side is my weakest side. I have also fallen in the past due to balnce issues. it does make you look as if your drunk. if its worrying you see or speak to your gp.take care gentle hug x

    Yes,  me all the time debbie..sooooo many symptoms and sooo varied happen to us..and some of us never get some of the symptoms others do...grrr...be blessed..have a lovely day..:-) xxx
