Silent reflux??

hi,

ive been experiencing silent reflux symtoms for some time now and they seem to be getting worse.

i had a sore throat few weeks back but my symptoms were happening before this...

i went to visit my GP who prescribed me penicillin as she said my throat looked slightly infected still. im currently on them for 10 days..been taking them 3 days but no improvement as of yet. but my symptoms are:

*sore throat...almost like its my voice box and it occasionally feels strained if i talk for a while or just talk in general.

  • burping...alot! sometimes forced burps as it seems to clear my throat
  • throat clearing
  • occssional acid in chest going up into throat (not very often)
  • pain near left rib...seems to radiate to back and breast.
  • blister type thing on back wall of mouth

i must say i also have post nasal drip.

but my other concern is ive been having red patches in my mouth (painless) i clench my teeth and also suck my cheek in alot.

im due to see dentist next week and also due to take a stool sample to take into my doctor...testing for reflux i think.

any advice appreciated. but the patches i mouth...can acid reflux cause this??

you may need your doctor to arrange an endescopy that would show where acid is coming from. you say you suffer from post nasal drip, what are your symptoms with post nasal?
