Simplex effecting everything!

Hi guys I'm new to this site and first time Iv actually spoke to someone about the whole truth. I found out today I have the virus, my immune system is seriously bad, I have a cold pretty much on a daily basis. I am on steroid sprays, and any tablets relating to colds hay fever etc to help because I'm so tired of it. I have 6 very large prominent nodes up in my neck which have been studied for lymphoma but thankful came negative. These have been up for 3 years. One is so large it looks like I have a Adam's apple on the side of my neck.  Iv been undergoing treatment with my opthamology casualty for a year now. In this space of time, I have had 48 cornea ulcers (cold sores) in my left eye & 4 in my right eye. My right eye has some how suffered worse though, as Iv just come back out of hospital with news that not only are they going to keep happening but I have now got a lattice dystrophy, and torn a wound in my cornea causing my eye to become very weak. Most people don't get this till they are around 40, and serious cases could lead to laser or transplant even lose of vision safe to say I'm incredible distraught over this as I am only 24! I just didn't know who to talk to I haven't even told my partner the proper term he just knows I have eye issues because I for some reason feel dirty like really dirty saying I have a herpes virus when I was younger it was just a cold sore everyone had them now it just seems so much worse. I just want hope it's going to get better. I have a good diet. But my life is filled with stress I don't currently work because I have post trama and depression. My partner is at sea doing one of the most dangerous jobs going so im always panicking about him not only that is he's not long came into my life he was or is my saviour! I married young and had three children with my husband, he passed away 2014 leaving us all behind and I was on my own until recently meeting my new partner.  So Iv been through stress I still am anniversairys birthdays etc still knock me off track and obviously bringing the children up is hard and stressful anyway. My doctor is saying it's related to all of the above but I'm unsure how he expects me to correct it, how do I stop this I'm at my tether!!  X

    may I ask , is it the herpes who caused the eyes infection ?

      Yes it caused it, because my immune system is shot anyway when I get ill it struggles to fight it,  so I end up with cold sores on my cornea etc 😞

    Hey i know your pain i not long beed told i have it. Not as bad as yourself but i have went from a heppy person to the most depressed person going and i feel like you cant tell anyone and your alone cam on here to try and talk to people but not many people respond to my posts

      It knocks you right down doesn't it. I'm constantly panicking and I just feel horrible, it's simply because of the name. Back in the day it used to be cold sores that was it and now it's known by heroes people immediately back away and judge you. How long have you had symptoms?, what process are you on? X
