Single hiccup sensation

This is a strange one, and I am not sure if it means anything but I feel sure it does.

Anyhow in recent months when I wake up when lying down......with CFS I often take a while to get up.....I experience a series of single hiccups.....every morning. This might end up being six to eight over a half hour period. A little while ago I started to get them occasionally during the day.

I have heard this might be a vagus nerve issue. Any thoughts on this? Does anyone else experience similar bizarre symptoms?

Thanks for the reply. In short I dont know however through all of this, meaning CFS I have had little or no gut or digestive issues.....which is why I am thinking it is neurological, specifically a vagus nerve concern. I meant raise this with my GP the other day but totally forgot when relating all of the other myriad of symptoms I present with. Has anyone else on here have issues with their vagus nerve?

Again thank you for your reply.
