Sinus infection?
Posted , 8 users are following.
I have been sick all week started off thinking it was just my allergies. progressed to chest and sinus congestion and is not getting better. I suspect a possible sinus infection because of the bad taste in my mouth. (had sinus infection years ago similar symptoms). My worry is that this infection could go to my hip? Anyone had this experience? I have decided to go to the walk in clinic today to be safe. Feel like I should be better by now.

I just don't feel well, sometimes nauseas and then I get a taste coming from my gut as if I swallowed a bottle of paracetamol. my sinuses burn at times, but I do not suffer from sinusitis. I cannot see this infection relating to your hip.

I'm a retired nurse who at some point was an ent nurse specialist: ) most sinus infections are now seen as viral esp for first 7 days and often after and abx are not always given out. look up sinus infections nhs that'll give you advice. if you've managed to get into your local walk 8n centre hope tgeyve helped - I've worked in one of those as well 😃

Just back from walkin clinic and yes julie that is just what the doctor told me. He gave me scrip for nasal spray corticosteroid, also antibiotic to use if this lasts longer than 14 days. There is a wicked virus going around this area and apparently I'm the poster girl for it...lol.

Thank you. I'm feeling better now and went back to work yesterday. After a week of inactivity I walked about 13000 steps today. Paying for it with some muscle soreness on operated side. Glad to be healthy again. Need to get back in shape!
