Hi all

I have terrible anxiety and have been so worried lately. I have bad sinus pressure and mild allergies asthma and what I think is acid reflux. I have had this sinus issue for about 2 months and two courses of antibiotics haven’t helped a bit. I’m scared that it will spread to by Brain and kill me or that it is my sphenoid sinus and it is eroding towards the brain. Please help thank you!??

    Hi my friend,

Please try not to worry so hard. I know its difficult as I am a worrier to. What you need is a scan CT or MRI so they can look inside your sphenoid sinus and check out its condition. Please see a doctor as soon as you can and tell them all your worrys and insist on a scan.

That way you will know for sure whats going on with your sinuses.

    All the best to you.

    Cheers.

    Hi Shane

Sinuses are not part of the brain. They are simply hollow bones, that can be affected by allergies and viral infections.

Please read my post “Sinus Infection-An effective treatment”. It may just help you overcome your problem.

I found that Evening Primrose Oil was a wonder cure for allergy problems. After suffering hayfever, rhinitis, and sinusitis for 65 years I found this miracle cure.

    Kind regards Ray.

Hey Raymond - just as a little FYI - you can absolutely get a CT of your sinuses.
