Sinus problems

Hi I have suffered from sinusitis on and off for years so my family doctor ordered a CT scan and my results show..Polyp seen in left Maxillary sinus, there is mucosal thickening causing obliteration of left maxillary ostium. Bilateral concha bullosa, left sided nasal septum deviation with spur formation. My question is should I pay to see a ENT specialist? As my family doctor only ever gives me a nasal spray.

I would. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow and seeing about getting an appt with him again for on and off sinus issues. I had a limited Ct scan of my sinuses a couple months ago and nothing shown up.

I would see if your PCP will refer you to an ENTRY for that type of issue.

Thank God my Dr has referred me to see a consultant in a few weeks, do you think these problems on the CT scan will go away on their own or with medicine, or will some surgery be required?
