hi guys! 23, female. So for about 4 weeks or so, i have been having what i thought was sinusitis. I was having pain behind my eyes, down the side of my nose, above my brow and cheek bones(both sides but mainly right) and the occasional ear pain. It feels like a pressure like burning/tingly sensation in my cheek bone and all these areas are sore to touch. Have been to 4 drs...and finally the 4th gave me antibiotics, which did nothing. I am also currently on avamys nasal spray and have just had a CT done. My results came back clear but with a few little things. I have no idea what the heck is causing all this facial pain in my sinus areas! My CT results are below:
No significant paranasal sinus inflammation. Mild bowing of the nasal septum to the right.
Nasal cavity: nasal bones intact. mild bowing of the nasal septum to the right. no dominant nasal poly or mass.
Maxillary antra: aerated. patent maxillary ostia. Small haller cells, larger on the left
Ethmoid sinus: aerated. patent frontal recesses
Frontal sinus: aerated
Sphenoid sinus: widely aerated with minor mucosal thickening adjacent to the right sphenoethmoidal recess which is stenosed. patent left pathway
nasopharynx: minor adenoid tonsillar thickening without narrowing of the nasopharyngeal airway
I am yet to go back to the dr with these results (i read the little sheet which came with the images). The dr will probably just tell me that none of these things will be causing my pain....has anyone had anything similar and actually found a diagnosis?! I am ready to rage quit so hard. It is giving me anxiety and stressing me out to the point where i am losing sleep!!!

It appears you may have a difficult problem to solve. Could I suggest you try taking Evening Primrose Oil, as it is very beneficial in eliminating allergy related problems.
It will not adversely affect your health, as it is not a drug. It may in fact be quite beneficial.
Try taking one 1000mg Evening Primrose Oil capsule each day for two weeks, and see if there is any improvement. What can you lose, it may just be allergic sinusitis.
Kind regards, Ray.
