Sinusitis nightmare improved

I purchased from a well known shopping site, a lightbeam. Boots chemist and Lloyds chemist sell their version of this same thing. A light beam that irradiates the mucous membranes, only the red light is visible, but there are other manometer wavelengths that cannot be seen. Sounds a scam, but I bought mine and it works. When I first used it, I could not blow my nose productively, just after my first insertion, productive output. Been using it now for about 10 days, my nose lights up like Ruddolfe the Raindeer, so no spectators. Also new spray has been good, doctor gave me Beclometasone, a corticosteroid, so cannot be on this more than three months, am reducing, this to one squirt for each nostril twice a day, as now much better.

I was at the, point of going to try anything, the reviews online regarding the light beam was mostly five stars, and I would say the same.

Thanks for sharing. What model of the lamp did you purchase that worked for you?

I am happy it worked for you, I always thought it is a scam but I respect anyone who has been sick like me. I might even buy it. BUT,  the light and the sprays are for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. So I rather prefer being honest, once you stop using the spray the sinuses might come back. I know because my case is similar. You should ask for the ENT referal and do an allergy test but in my opinion unless you are around london and have access to an allergy unit in  London, I find pointless treat an allergy in the NHS. I am convince is the best just to go private to an allergy specialist. However apart from the immunotherapy, any spray for permanent use that they may prescribe your GP should not have a problem to prescribe it later  and reduce cost. I recommed you a page on Facebook: "Staloral my experience". I have nothing to do with the writter but she is keen on the light beam so I guess the way she manage her allergy migth be interesting for you. Finally I am not doctor but I am afraid this is a plane deduction "corticortiroid worked hence you are likely to have an underlying allergy", you better act now.
