Sinusitis or Migraine?

I think I suffer from sinusitis. I have the pressure headache above my eyes directly on the brows. It is sore to the touch. I don't have think mucous and when my nose runs it is always clear. Lately the sinus headache has been getting worse. Tylenol barely helps. I used to take sudafed but it made my heart skip a beat and I did not like that. I do have a little drainage down my throat at times. My symptoms are mostly the headache, soreness around the eyebrows and I am constantly cleaning my throat (from drainage I guess). It got so bad yesterday afternoon I considered going to the ER. It finally subsided and feels OK right now. Mine usually starts in the late afternoon. I hope to soon be referred to an ENT but that will be a few months away. Any thoughts? Is this sinusitis or could it be migraine?

Mucinex D thins mucus to allow it to drain better, a saline washout can also help, there are OTC spray's over the counter that could help with inflammation.

Hi, it sounds like sinusitis to me. I recommend checking out this health site called www.lactobacto.com. It focuses a lot on dealing with sinusitis. Good luck!

As a chronic sinusitis sufferer for 50 years, I can fully understand your problem.
I tried every known cure, and went to many specialists, and resigned myself to a continued lifelong problem.
I was a chronic allergy sufferer, starting as a hayfever sufferer as a child, and graduating to sinusitis at age 15. Allergy to pollens, some foods, and even high humidity, was a continual daily problem.
I tried every known cure, and went to many specialists, finding temporary relief, but no
relief from the ongoing daily problem.
I finally found a miracle cure for my problem, at age 65. That cure was Evening Primrose Oil.
Please read my post “Sinus Infection - An Effective Cure” in this forum, for the full story of my journey with this problem.
Try taking one 1000 mg capsule of Evening Primrose Oil daily, and see if it is a cure for your problem.
If you have an allergy problem, then you should get great benefit from this simple treatment. Try a different brand if you do not get relief within two weeks, as there are bad batches in some brands.
Evening Primrose Oil works in about 4hours, and it is effective for a further 24 hours, so one 1000 mg capsule daily is normally adequate.
Kind Regards, Ray
