Sitting restrictions

tomorrow is 11 weeks after left hip replacement 

i was told that not to sit on normal chair till 12 weeks or 3 months and not to sleep on low bed 

what others done?

    I didn't get my checkup until 11 weeks, and was told I had to keep my precautions until I saw the doc, which I stuck to. I ditched the toilet raiser at 12 weeks and started sitting on lower things but found it hard if they were very low, but managing.
