Six months after rectocele surgery

Had rectocele surgery in February, I’m having a deep pain in my vagina where the surgery was performed. I think it’s still healing in the deep tissue and maybe the stitches are being dissolved🤷???🤷???

Hi Latisha I also had rectocele in February and last week also noticed stabbing sharp pains. Don't seem to be every day. Noticed them Wednesday and Thursday last week, also had it today at work. Have been quietly panicking but what you said probably makes sense. Hopefully won't last to long.
Thanks for sharing. I can relax now.
Take care

I know I’m still healing but I have got external scar tissue from rectocele repair ( now 10 weeks post op ). I’ve been using aveeno cream and sudocrem but they don’t seem to be helping. Still feels really tight and sore. You mentioned coconut oil. Have you tried this and where do you buy it from? I’m still waiting on an appt with a physio to try dilators but thought I might try and help myself first.
Many thanks for any info you can give x

Ra w pure virgin coconut oil from any good health shop.it's pure and very healing for skin.
If not use anything with chemical stuff in.it can take months to soften out but the above will help you a lot.
Also yes products online..amazing organic lubs.x

I had rectocele surgery and a hemorrhoidectomy in 2014. My rectocele surgery failed and as a result ended up having posterior vaginal wall repair. I too have the stabbing pains in my vagina still 3 years later. They get better but some days they can be worst than others though not as frequent. Hope this helps.
