Six months - and counting...?

Hi all, if it's any consolation to those who have managed to get rid of their rash/spots caused by PR let me tell you that you are the VERY LUCKY ONES!  Because I've had PR for around six MONTHS now...the rash, plus ulcerated mouth (with no taste for food - when I can actually eat)  I have now been given an appointment to see a specialist...so will let you know what the diagnosis & treatment will be - if any.  So far I've been given antibiotics(in the early stages as doctor thought it was a viral infection)  Which was an absolute No-No!  Then mouthwash...and so far I've tried every damn one on the market.  To no avail.  Another lady on a discussion had said she also suffered for 14 MONTHS!  So hey I've a bit further to go if that's the case.  So please count yourselves lucky if you only have the rash/spots.  Thanks for letting me blow off some steam.

I'm so sorry you've got it so bad!! Please let us know what the diagnosis is. I hope the specialist can help you and find a way to at least get your taste for food back. What a miserable time!

I can't believe it's been that long you must feel terrible, I really feel for you in a big way, I've had PR for 2 months and even that feels like a lifetime, id be interested to know if anyone has tried any Chinese herbal medicines for this condition I'm considering going to my nearest herbalist tomorrow because I've tried EVERYTHING and it just won't go! Have you heard of prreze cream? I've ordered some but it won't get here until January 6th
