Skin bubbles near penis?

My girlfriend of 3 years had these 'skin tag' looking things on her vaginal entrance a year ago. I had no fear of infidelity and I know we were both negative for all STD's at the start of our relationship. Anyways she went and got them checked out, nurse said just harmless skin tags cos of the moist/warm area and the friction of sex being the mose probably cause. Months later they had cleared up on their own. All good. Then a couple of months ago I noticed I had one of the same things on my shaft. and over the last 6-8 weeks it has gotten progressively worse, almost covering the base of my penis. Are these skin tags? If they were how could I have 'caught' them from my Girlfriend? Will they clear up naturally in time or is medical intervention required? We're very sexually active, and understanding to boot, so it hasn't caused any problems, I'm just concerned that suddenly I seem to have contracted them...

    You can't 'catch them and they are nothing to worry about

      but are they DEFINATELY skin tags? and is it just perfectly by chance I got them after she had them?

      I haven't been able to look at your picture but if you are very worried, you should go to a doctor or GUM clinic

      You can't catch skin tags, so it is pure chance and if they are anything else, then the doctor will tell you.

    They could be genital warts [I am not impressed by the picture ...] and if so they are infectious but can be treated.  I would certainly take them [and yourself of course] to the Genito Urinary Clinic nearest to you.  I am surprised that "nurse" woudl make the diagnosis on your g/f

      she asked specifically if they were genital warts and she said they were not rolleyes she asked her during a standard contraceptive pill checkup. Would my gf not have caught them back by now though if it were warts? seeing as we have sex nearly daily and i've had these for a couple of months now...
