Skin cancer?? plz help

I have had this weird bump on my nose for awhile now, at least a year. It's firm and looks like a nose pimple, but it DOESNT GO AWAY! I went on a google frenzy and I'm not sure what size or shape nodules are but now I'm panicking that I might have skin cancer. I've heard stories about skin cancer and I've seen the scars, I'm really scared to have to go through this even if it's vain.

The pictures don't do much justice, but I have also notices weird sharp/hard bump-like things on the inside of my nostrils that are white/yellow is and I thought they were hard mucus until I realized they weren't coming out whenever I tried to remove them. When I touch them after awhile they start to hurt and I'm scared it's skin cancer going deep into my nose because it's been left untreated? i don't know

I really need help figuring out what this is because trying to get a dermatologist referral is near to impossible and takes forever.imageimageimageimageimage

Even when I try to pop it as if it was a pimple, there is no puss. It turns bright red because it fills with blood i believe. Sometimes when i haven't touched it at all I'll wake up and it will appear redder than the last day. normally it's a light pink and I can barely see it, but it never goes away

Hi there. I had a 'pimple' like lump on the side of my nose for about 6yrs. (i did get it checked several months after it came up) & i was told by my GP that it wasn't anything to worry about. Boy, how wrong was he. 5ys on, i told him i wanted it removed because it was beginning to affect my self esteem more than anything. 7 days later i went back to get the stitches removed & it was cancer all along!!! BCC, basal cell carcinoma. BCC is extremely slow growing & is an extremely common cancer & rarely kills but if possible get it checked but remember, it could be something quite innocent too so don't panic. Even if it is BCC as long as it's monitored you'll be fine.

Does the removal/surgery leave bad scarring? I work with someone who had a growth on his neck and when they told him it was cancer they did surgery and now his neck is badly scarred. I'm scared of that on my face!

Generally no. All i have is a small red mark. I know how you feel about it being on your face cos i felt the same way but it's better to have it removed than get worse.

You're welcome. But get it checked. Any lumps that are new need to he investigated but it could be something innocent too but you wont know until you check it out. Sometimes not knowing is alot worse than the diagnosis. Good luck.
