Skin coloured lump on foreskin

I have had a skin coloured lump on my foreskin (see attached pictures) for as long as I can remember (many years). I can not identify one particular moment the lump appeared: all I know is that I was a young child and it was well before I engaged in any sexual activity. It has never caused me any pain or discomfort and is easily forgotten about.

I would not describe it as being ‘hard’ but on the other hand, it does not feel as though it could be popped. It’s about the size of a small pea and has not changed in appearance.

I have read about things such as fordyce spots and lymphocele, both of which seem feasible, although the latter is usually caused as a result of surgical trauma and I have never undergone any surgery to that area of my body.

I would be very grateful if someone could advise me on what it is. Thanks!

Pictures did not attach the first time around. Please see below.

Definitely not a Fordyce spot, almost certainly not a lymphocele, and it looks like a cyst to me too.  It's probably not causing any problems, but I think it would be fairly easy to remove for cosmetic reasons.

Lymphoceles aren't normally caused by surgery btw, but physical injury to the penis, typically by very rough sex or masturbation.

If you see a doctor, please let us know what they say.

      Thanks for your response.

I went my doctors this morning for a walk-in appointment and, low and behold, it’s a harmless cyst. I was told it could actually do more harm than good to have it removed, as the chances of infection, scarring and problems with foreskin retraction can result.

Seeing as it’s totally harmless and I have lived with it for so long thus far, causing me no issues, it’s exactly what I wanted to hear!

      Thanks again

So you haven't got it removed right?

Cause I also have the same issue and it the size of a pea as you mentioned and i had it since 1-2 years dont remember when it first appeared. There is no discomfort and neither any pus. Please reply as I am concerned and too shy to share it with someone I know.

Hi, you need to go for an excision. Its huge even without pressing to outline the embedded size. The longer you wait the larger the scar.

It could be a raphe cyst or an inclusion cyst. Likely to grow bigger or remain in size. Will look larger during an erection. You can check it with urologist. Only way to rid it is through an excision. I have something similar, still monitoring but i did go to a urologist for an opinion. You should do the same (urologist opinion) and take a snapshot for reference.
