does anyone know what causes these marks on inner thighs and under arms?

They look a bit like angiomas which are caused by skin rubbing together. If they dont itch, crust, weep or change colour then they are Ok just left alone. If they are worrying you, or you find you are suddenly getting a lot of them then do see your doctor for reassurance.
