Skin fusion rapidly getting worse

i was told I have LS awaiting results of biopsy, but I am very concerned about skin fusion and how quickly this is happening, I had the biopsy last month, and it has worsened rapidly since then, I'm not due to go back to see my Gynea til March. The extreme itch appears to be under control but worried sick about the how quickly the skin fusion is proceeding. Does anyone know if this is this reversible!!! :'( or indeed how to stop it getting any worse.

I'm having issues with the clitoral hood coming down. I noticed the LS in November, not knowing what it was. Diagnosed Dec, and since then the skin has changed. The steroid I was on seemed to halt it from going any further and the skin was tight but with the steroid its softer and doesn't feel like it's being stretched. It's still out more than it was before. As far as I inderstand surgery is the only option to fix it. I believe another lady on here just had surgery for fusion, hopefully she sees this.

My experience with fusing and working towards a reverse is:  I was totally fused up in October last year.  Only a pinhole left for passing on urine.  Took half an hour or more to empty my blatter.  What a life!   The gynae suggested a dilation procedure under narcose. (NO CUTTING!!!!)  Which was done.  So after that I had a few inches instead of this pinhole.  (How one can enjoy going to the bathroom.)  Afraid of infection I started to rinse the bottom with bakings soda water in the spray bottle that I received at the hospital.  To my utter surprize I observed that the fusing started 'melt' away bit by bit.  I started to add 1/3 cup baking soda to my every other day baths and more and more felt relieve. Today, less than three months further, I'm basically free from fusing. A little bit at the top is left, clitoris is surfacing.

My thought is - if you started earlier with the bakings soda rinses, then cover the area with coconut oil - would that result in preventing from further fusing.  Worth a try.  Baking soda is cheap, and coconut oil is doable as well.

In addition - don't forget an alkaline diet:  no gluten, no dairy, no sugar, no caffeine. Careful with soya.

I'm doing fairly well, sometimes make a mistake with the food intake, but know how to keep things better under control.  So far so good.

My 'shotgun' is still on hand - globetasol.  Now only when things seem to go slightly wrong and that is mainly my own careless doing.

    Hope this helps.
