hello

wondering if any one has had experience of incredibly itchy skin then red itchy rash developing on body. its not hives or eczema . looks like spots and skin is reddish. sometimes skin feels like its burning like sunburn and pricking sensation too. Wondering if related to hormone changes as am perimenopausal. any similar experiences?

It could be prickly heat or maybe a reaction to a preservative in a shower gel, skin cream, fabric conditioner or even washing detergent. Have you used any new products recently?

Can you post a picture? I have had an itchy rash since July 7th and nothing is working. Wondering if its the same? Mine is on my abdomen and back of thighs but is slowly moving to front of thighs too. imageimage

Yes, it started itching, just seemed to get progressively worse and within a few days bumps started showing up after scratching. Bumps are still there without scratching, but not angry red. But once I start scratching, they get bigger and stay angry and aggravated for a while until they settle down again. Seems like the itchiness really hits in the evening/night though.

But wouldn't a dermatitis at least get better with the use of steroid cream, steroid shots, and allergy pills and pepcids daily after a month? Everything I've been doing and nothing is better at all. Its like I'm on placebo's seriously.
