Skin rash, please help

I was wondering if any could offer any advice on what this rash could be.

My son has had this rash now for almost three months. He is too embarrassed about the rash to go to the doctors, so i said id check online to see if anyone had any answers..

any help or advice would be greatly apprechiated

    Why is your son embarrassed, is the rash in a particularly private place? If he's had it for three months then he should get it looked at. I've had a look at the pictures but I don't know what it could be. Does it itch? Is it spreading? Is it weeping or dry? Is it all over his body or just in one place? Have you changed your washing powder in the last three months? If it's on his body and not on his face has he tried putting some hydrocortisone on it to see if it clears up? There are lots of websites that have slide shows of various skin rashes so perhaps you could look at those and read the descriptions and see if you can work out what it is your son has. he really should go to the doctor though.

    Hi, I have had eczma and psoriasis since I was born. I'm 14 now.

    To me this looks like psoriasis, as the scales are red whereas if they were white they would be eczma. But I may be completely wrong.

    You posted this a couple of months ago, have you found out what it is?
