HI treezsh, i was on ORIENCIA ( abatacept ) and I broke out with a rash, had it for several weeks, the GP thought it was exzema and the allergist had no idea and the dermatologist did not know either. But after a few weeks the rash faded and I noticed little red bumps on my hands, the dermatologist did a biopcey and it came back as Plaque psorias. I went off the drug. My husband is on Methotrexate and prednisone and he has developed exzema. The rash could be if you are using a new bathing soap, laundry soap, skin lotion and a host of other things, maybe not the medicine. Good luck.
I hope the monitor reads this. I get no spell check, If I capitolize the first letter all of it is in capitol letters, so I have to always turn it off. And the sight does not " remember me", always have to re-sign in. Ever since the site was changed or done over I have had nothing but trouble. So MONITOR how about a fix. I am a terrible speller.

Hi. I had my first two Rituximab infusions 6 weeks ago, and just this last few days I've noticed dry red itchy blotches on my forehead and face. No obvious explanation but now you've posted I will call my Rhuemy nurse and see if related.

I have had RA for 12 years.
I am on methotrexate and prednisone and recently started coming down from 7.5,mg of preds to 5mg and have just developed eczema.
The rash is very slight to look at so far, but itches badly periodically. I have it in my inside of my upper arms and on my neck. When it's really bad I put an ice pack on it and that helps.
