i dont know whether he will think im wasting his time. they itch and bleed and makes keeping clean difficult

What sort of surgeon? Were you referred by a GP? They should remove it.

i couldnt afford to go private. i hope they are bad enough for him to do even though thats sounds daft . i hope he doesnt say to leave them

if they are causing you discomfort then i am sure they will agree to remove them. I am waiting for an op to remove a skin tag, I was referred by my GP. I explained to the consultant how it was itchy, difficult to keep clean and sometimes if I sleep on my back it starts to throb. He agreed to remove it just waiting on a date now. Good luck

could be a 6 month wait. Due to covid the department are only doing cancer ops.

my mum said it doesvt look that bad and that she doubts he will remove it i am stressed out now

I'm so sorry to hear that. Why are you concerned about it? Only for cleaning or cosmetic issues? To be honest, the stress also comes after you do it - it might not perfect (like mine) and it takes a while to accept honestly even if I pay for it - its not gonna end up like nothing ever was there.
