Skipped beats for 3 days!

29 year old male here. 4 days ago I was visiting some family and noticed after a terrible night sleep I was having skipped beats around every 20 beats or so. Otherwise I have no other symptoms or side effects except the strange feeling in my chest and occasionally a weird sensation in the deep back of my throat along with the skipped beat.  If I am in certain positions or very distracted I can’t notice them but they have consistently come back for all 4 days. Does anyone have any insight on how to get rid of this annoyance or any solutions to make them go away

    hey tom... is this your first experience w them?

    Mine are certainly increased when i don't sleep well, plus I drink more than moderately and that effects sleep negatively...

    Hi Tom

    I've been experiencing skipping of heartbeats for 2 months..I have made an appointment with an electrophysiologist..Mine come and go and it's every 5-6 beats then 20 ect. Scary feeling especially at night. I understand that it won't kill you but it could be afib. Metropolol is the meds most prescribed to control this...Check with your primary care ...
