Slap tear op

I’ve just not long had slap tear surgery ( 4 weeks) after tearing my biceps and ligament from the joint  , still in this damn brace for another 2 weeks . I’m getting a buzzing pain like an electric shock down my thumb and the pain and tightness flip me sideways!!! If I hadn’t had a stroke on my other side and could move I would perform self amputation. Am I being a wimp or paranoid? Or is this just normal .. cheers guys appreciate any help
