Sleep Apnea can be noisome -- The doctors will pressure you to buy a CPAP machine (look that up). . I solved my affliction with just a piece of surgical paper tape across my mouth while sleeping, a new one each night, or several times in the night, if necessary : Cheap. effective, one gets used to the feel of it. . WARNING : Be prepared thru practice to remove the tape QUICKLY should anything move you to have to vomit.

I have had 2 sleep studies, 1 in my local hospital and the 2nd about 3 yrs later in a large London hospital, where you are completely wired up from head to feet, then you are assesed to see which type of c-pap you require incl settings, these are supplied totally free of charge, and you need to go back once a year for them to read the digital card, and provide maintenance to the machine all F.O.C.

But if you dont live in Uk its probably expensive. Anything else you need to know, just get in touch, hope this helps Tape over the mouth may stop snoring, but does not stop your airways from collapsing

Thankyou, this was very helpful. I have been put on a waiting list for a sleep study in Scotland now. The study I just took part in I was wired up head to toe, they now think it is my heart rather than my breathing. Thankyou for the info hope you have a happy new year.
