sleep apnea/uvulitis/snoring

i have been told i snore quite loudly and spend most of my days feeling uncomfortable due to a lump like feeling in throat due to my uvula rubbing on my tongue. i think the snoring causes the uvula to vibrte and it swells causing the discomfort during the day time. im not sure if i have sleep apnea but i wake up with my left arm with pins and needles and my heart feeling like its struggling. could this be symptoms? the doctors have diagnosed me with depression and anxiety and its taken over my life. its been nearly 5 years. ENT have done an operation to open my airways in my nose but daily my uvuala continues to be irritated and i now thin that this maybe sleep apnea? reading it also ca be quite serious and it all makes sense why i keep having these heart abnormalities at night? or is that just me? really need some help with this as its being treated as a mental disorder nd no ones taking mne seriously and i do think that it is sleep apnea that is the problem.

Maybe you should ask your GP to refer you to a hospital for a sleep study.

Anything else you need to know, please ask.

    Hi DaisyLove,

I think its anxiety, i used to hold my breath like david, and gasp for often gasp for breath. It was a long time ago now but looking back to that point, i was an anxious person.

Sleep study is a good starting point with this as the you need to find the cuase before a cure. (ie: Stress, anxiety ect)

How do you feel your lifestyle is (Apart from this)

DaisyLove I would be asking your Doctor to book you in for a sleep study.  Some of your symptoms definitely sound like sleep apnea to me.

    Good luck 😄
