Sleep disorder

Iam taking Clonazepam 5 & Elesert 100. If I stop these medicines suddenly what will happen?  kindly explain.

    The withdrawal effects will depend partly on what you're taking them for.

    Suddenly stopping clonazepam could cause seizures, particularly if you have CSVD (as stated in your first post on this site two weeks ago). Stopping Elesert (sertraline) could also produce some unpleasant symptoms.

    Please don't stop either of these meds or even taper them unless it's under strict medical supervision. If you're not happy about taking them you should discuss this with the doctor who prescribed them.

    definitly taper off them i learnt that the hard way with fluoxtine/prozac severe mood swings even more sleeping issues mad withdrawls all i could think of was taking the damn pills again to stop the feeling of dispair & emptyness just take it easy... 100mg is high dose so maybe do 75 for 2 weeks then 50 an so on, generally don't take clonazepam everyday, just when needed try doing 1mg twice daily(depending what times you take it) i never took anything that made me drowsy during day just incase i had to drive etc but yeah different drugs effect people in unique ways. good luck take care <3
