Sleep or no sleep?

Hi there

This all started over 3 weeks ago, went from a healthy sleeper to virtually none even zero hours at times but this weird thing is happening to me where I'm in bed I've got relaxed my mind's blank but I don't think I'm sleeping and I when I open my eyes sometimes an hour or 2 has gone by but I don't remember that time,am I actually having some kind of sleep but just not aware of it,it's causing me severe anxiety and depression and am so fed up with it now!!

    Hi Cheryl,

    Nothing to worry about. Just google Sleep State Misperception. It happens to us all sometimes. Most people will go through periods of anxiety about sleeping a few times in their lives as well. Just try to go with the flow. You clearly are sleeping, even if you might not be getting enough sleep just at the moment. Lack of sleep isn't actually dangerous for your health, even if it can make you feel tired. Think about parents of small children! This will pass if you can avoid working yourself up into a state of anxiety.
