I too have sleep problems and suggest you see a sleep specialist who will study your sleep pattern overnight and then make a diagnosis. Only then should medications be considered.

My sleep condition is complex. A few years ago I was diagnosed with hypersomnia, the condition of falling asleep very easily at inappropriate times of the day eg mid afternoon when I am in the office.

'And I received meds for that.

Recently I have been on cancer meds and that makes me unable to sleep. One doctor prescribed tamezopan which is a sedative and helps sleep for "plain vanilla" insomniacs. It had no effect on me because the cancer meds have thrown my hormones out of whack and I will only improve my sleep once I stop taking the cancer meds.

This may happened because of insomnia however you can try some mindfulness exercises to stay calm, another way I like to suggest you hypnosis the best method that helps in deep relaxation and it is also helpful in insomnia as well. You can also use self hypnosis for deep relaxation.

Hi, are u still struggling with this problem. I have had excessive dreaming problems for like 9 months now and i wake up every 2-3 hours what seems to be from a dream. When i wake up, i feel tired as if i had not got quality sleep the night prior. I dont have problem falling asleep, just problems staying asleep. I am 21 years old, and feel the daytime fatigue/tiredness throughout the day and it disappears in the night. hope your doing well! Have u figured out what this is or a cure? Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
