Sleep Problems - Really Scared

Hi, about 3 weeks ago I had a health scare that stressed me right out, since than I physically havnt been able to sleep - fall asleep and stay asleep. I have tried some antidepressants - mirtazepine, diazepam, quatiapine, weed, tamazepam, phenergen, restirol and nothing has worked my head is starting to hurt and am forgetting things I am also not feeling any hunger or thirst and have lost a fair bit of weight. The sleep I have had is restless and struggle to get up with my body aching, occasionally get hot flushes and tremors. I know this sounds insane, but how can depression stop these natural occurrences, is it even depression? I've been to the hospital many times and they're confused as to what it could be. Someone please help.

did they run tests at the hospital? Do you have a primary doctor that you see? Sorry you’re going through all of this it must be very stressful for you.The health scare that you had probably triggered anxiety and panic and left you feeling this way.

Have you considered talking to a counselor or therapist? They can help you sort some of this out which might be a good first step. you need support right now .

in the meantime try to relax your mind as best you can. When laying down, listen to some soothing meditations that you can find on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, etc. I do this every night and I end up falling asleep before it’s over. lauren ostrowski has a very soothing voice. She has really good one called it’s OK. And others that are equally soothing for sleep. check those out. just take one day at a time until you can talk to somebody. Every now and then stop and take some long slow deep breaths.

    Everything will work out.

another thing that helps with sleep is listening to white noise. You can find that on your phone on YouTube. They have great sounds such as fan sound, the ocean, etc. it calms down the mind so you don’t overthink.

I have seen a counsellor about it even been to psychiatrist been seen by 2 different GPs they say it's also depression, been given mirtazepine, olanzepine and zopiclone, but still can't get past first or second stage of sleep, I've tried to explain that but it's becoming so frustrating cause my appetite hasn't bounced either. I've tried listening to sounds on YouTube and tried yoga/meditation aswell. I'm at a loss because every day feels numb, like I don't feel overall tired even though I havnt had much sleep either.

Not panic attacks the Mirtazepine/Olanzepine has settled me down a bit but still struggle with sleep the zoplicone does make me drowsy but feel as though I havnt slept, struggle to get out of bed plus still no hunger feeling not to sure what's going on see a neurologist on Monday to rule anything out. Most of the day is a struggle as I feel disoriented alot of it and forgetful at times also.
