Sleep study

So i am being referred to get a sleep study as the doctors suspect i may have sleep apnea or narcolepsy, or both lol..

But when i get this done, what happens if i cant sleep? I always have trouble sleeping and staying awake.. But im never able to sleep at appropiate times rolleyes what do i do? Does it matter when you fall asleep during a sleep study?

    you should fall asleep during a sleep study!  Hope you get to the bottom of things.

      Do they give you sleeping tablets? Im just concered because if im just laying there awake not able to sleep then i will feel bad for wasting time..

      I don't think that they do bcse they want to see you sleeping naturally.

      And you will find it hard to anyway because you are in hospital.
