Sleeping Heart Rate

Hello everyone,

In the last few weeks I have noticed that my sleeping heart rate has gone from roughly 50-60 during sleep to 55-70.

Now my anxiety is sky high because of this as I haven’t changed anything the last few weeks that could have made this happen.

My resting rate has gone from again roughly 50-54 to 55-60 also.

I wouldn’t say I’m overly active but play golf every weekend.  Im only 28 years old, so it’s a scary thought to think anything is wrong with my heart at this age.

I’ve been suffering bad health anxiety for the last year and my heart has always been on the back of my mind, but this is the first time that my sleeping heart rate has been effected.

Has anyone else suffered from a similar problem?

Only thing is Diana, I’ve kept track of it for the last 9 months and it’s never been that high before, not sure what’s changed, which is worrying me. I’ve been eating and drinking the same, along with the same amount of exercise and sleep. It’s really worrying me. Anxiety is sky high today.

Honey, please stop monitoring your heart rate. You know about "health anxiety" and that it causes you to worry about everything "under the sun". There is nothing wrong with your heart. The "health anxiety" is causing you to worry excessively. Can you recognise that honey? Don't let it trick you into believing it is something serious-its not!Donna xxx
