Ever since i got this hr monitoring watch 3 years ago, I have noticed that some nights, my hr will go up to about 120bbm for a few hours. sometimes its for 1 hour and it can be up to about 6 hours which is a bit frightening. i know it is not a malfunction because i actually wake up the mornings it happens feeling very tired and unrested. i know right away it happens by how i feel. i am 29, very thin and active which makes me think that it isn't sleep apnea as i dont snore or have any obstruction issues. i used to party a lot, drink a lot, and use cocaine and crystal meth from time to time which may have done some damage, but the past 4 or 5 years i have really gotten into endurance training, running many marathons and training runs up to 20 miles per day. maybe over training? it only spike a few times per week, and usually on days after I over slept, or slept more then 9 hours. idk. Any ideas as to why my heart is doing this? thank you!
