Hi i am in week six off my operation which was advanced surgery two plates plus screws. First week is terrible as your not used to elevating foot second same but just have plenty new pillows your foot can settle in the them make sure pillow between thigh too aliviates added pressure to your hip and back. Do not and i stress do anything but go to toilet ive learned hard way. Good days do nothing but foot up rest. I need to get other done in should have been week 9 of recovery but ive done too much so now week 11. Its hard take your meds even on good days im living in uk i know ive read a lot of us posts no driving until you can emergency stop im hortified reading people driving at 7 weeks in usa seriously wtf anyway healing takes time try not stress xx

Don't know if it would help but my surgeon suggested a bean bag so you can support your back and get the foot high enough, that might let you sleep on your side. I didn't and just tossed and turned but it might be worth a go. Luckily I am close to not having to elevate my leg anymore so I don't envy you the sleepless nights.

I'm 8 days post bilat bunions and have been sleeping last few nights on my side with my feet on a pillow (not on each other but. Oth feet on the pillow), or with a pillow under one hip/ flank to partially tilt me on my side

Seems to be ok. I've been mostly resting during the day with feet elevated 95% of the time

    Hope you get comfortable!
