Ruminating over daily activities can keep anyone awake. There are OTC supplements that work for some. It's best to check with your doctor.
i have similar problems illness in family member causes worth.
I start two hours ahead by calming down watching tv with sun glasses to fade out bright light and take OTC. Supplements.
It it becomes a routine.
your sleep patterns also have heart beating faster this may be due to several issues. Ck with your doc , a sleep study can help identify why your heart beats faster and perhaps a Cpap may be something needed.
May you find a better quality of sleep soon.

Hi Twinkle14
I keep a notebook by my bed. Everytime I think of something (anything at all) it goes in the notebook...then I clear my mind again. There's some nights I never write in it and other i write loads. Then I tell myself it's written down so I don't need to remember it and there's nothing I can do about it tonight. Takes practise though! Have you tried this?

have you had a chance to check back in with the sleep study clinic?
